The rate is the value stated in the commission rate table.
A rate may be any of the following:
| • | Percentage of policy premium (probably the most common expression of rates) |
| • | Percentage of Agency or Producer commission |
| • | A number of dollars per policy participant |
| • | A number of dollars per policy |
| • | A percentage of a policy cash value |
