When choosing a Payment Mode from the list, scroll down to the bottom and look for Edit List (if you have rights to add to lists.)  OR Click on Admin | Maintain Abbreviations and choose Payment Mode as the Abbreviation Type anc choose Add or Modify.

Payment Mode Overview

The Payment Mode is also know as the Premium Mode.  An example of a payment mode is "Annual".

Note that most payment modes are already accounted for and delivered with Advisors Assistant and cannot be edited.

Abbreviation

Make up a short abbreviation for the payment mode, but check the modes that come with the system before adding a new one so you can make sure it is not already included.

Description

This is the longer description of the payment Mode.

Times Per Year

This tells the system, especially the Commissions Module, how many times per year the premium is due.  This must be a whole number and should be a factor of 52. (evenly divisible into 52)
