Click on Admin on the Top Menu.  Then, cloick on Drop Down Lists.  For Abbreviation Type, choose Annuity Surrender Period. Then click Add or Modify.

Overview

These are standard field for adding or modifying abbreviations with the exception of the Years field.

Abbreviation

This is the short form of the Description.  It is used on reports where there is not enough room for a description.

Description

This is what is shown on the drop down lists.  Maximum of 50 characters.

Years

This is a numeric value which is not currently used, but may be used in the future for calculating surrender values.
