Completed Date

This date will not appear on the insurance contract.  It is used by Advisors Assistant so that you can search for policies which do not have a completed date.  This may mean that the policy is still in underwriting.

Some agents and agencies fill in this date only when the policy is issued, delivered, and the first commission has been received.

You can define what "Completed" means!

If you are filling in data and the policy is in force, be sure to fill in this date.  Use the Effective Date if you don't know the date.  Leaving this date blank will make it much more difficult to use Advisors Assistant for tracking new business.
