Contact Count By Producer
When counting contacts for inclusion in the list of producers displayed on the pie chart, you may not want to include all contacts in your database. For example, you may not want to include vendors or participants in group plans, such as health or retirement plans.
Choose Which Contact Types Are Included
Check the boxes for the contact types you want to include in the count of Contacts By Producer. Then, choose the number of pie slices you want to show.
If you choose 6 slices, only the top 6 counts will display in the pie chart.
For Example:
If you choose 6 slices and 4 different contact types, you will get the top 6 Producer for the 4 contact types. Only the contact types you checked off will be included.
If you are a single user system, only pick one slice.
Single User Systems
Single user systems are set up that all users have access to all producers' names. Therefore, you should choose the number of slices for the producers you have in your system. Of course, you could choose fewer slices and get a "Top" list showing that number of producers.
Network Systems
Network systems are set up that all users have access to all producers' names. Therefore, you should choose the number of slices for the producers you have in your system. Of course, you could choose fewer slices and get a "Top" list showing that number of producers.
Multi-producer Systems
Multi-producer systems are set up that users have access based on access rights. The system will count contacts based on the contacts that the user has access to. Of course, you could choose fewer slices than the number of producers to which you have access and get a "Top" list showing that number of producers.
Administrators
Administrators have access to all producers. Their chart would work similar to a Network system even if it is a Multi-producer system.
Choosing Producers And Multi-Producer Access
When you are using the Multi-Producer system, all producers will show on the list. However, the data shown on the dashboard will only contain producer data for those producers for which the user has access rights. This is true, even if the user checks producers for which they don't have access.
