Overview

IPads, Android Tablets and Phones and IPhones can access Advisors Assistant.  For full functionality of all modules you should use a tablet type of device.  If you are using a phone, our AAMobile program is available to our Hosted users.

Remote Computing (Hosted, Local Area Network, and Single User Systems)

Remote computing applies to IPad Tablets. Iphones and Android Tablets and Phones.  With remote computing, you can connect through one of the vendors listed below and see the Advisors Assistant program on your tablet computer.

All screen resizing happens automatically and you can do virtually anything on the tablet that you can do in your office with the exception of printing on paper and typing fast.  You are actually seeing your screen running on your computer in your office.

We have used LogMeIn on our IPad and find it works very well.  Be sure to research the program you choose and take advantage of their free trials.

You need to install a component on your office computer and a component on your remote device so they can talk to each other.

Advisors Assistant Mobile Program

As of mid December, 2011 we released our AAMobile application.  This is an application that runs on your Iphone, Android Phone, IPad, or Android Tablet.  It will also run in the Chrome Browser.

AAMobile supports the following functions:

•Adding and editing contact data.

•Adding and editing notes, including voice dictation if your phone has that feature

•Mapping Addresses for driving directions

•Dialing phone numbers stored in Advisors Assistant.

•View, adding and modifying calendar items. (Recurring events can only be viewed.)

•Viewing, adding, and modifying links and navigating to linked names.

•Viewing Households and navigating to contacts in households.

Version 1 targets the functionality on the phone that you would need while on the road for contacting clients and updating contact data.  Future versions will include those features we receive through user feedback.
