The Target Premium is calculated by the insurance company for each policy and age.  It is often considered the "no lapse premium" in that if the target premium is always paid, the policy should not lapse.

During downloads, Advisors Assistant may download the target premium amount for a policy if it is sent by the Home Office.  It will be placed under the View Policy with Pages Tab.

Usually, a company will pay a full commission up to the target premium.  The Target Premium may or may not be the same as the Base Premium field stored in Advisors Assistant.  The Base Premium could be less than the Target Premium.
