Click on the Notes Button at the bottom of any of the screens where it is displayed.
AAMobile lets you read notes and take notes while in the field. If your device has voice recognition, such as the Android phones, you can dictate notes right into Advisors Assistant.
List of Note Topics And Note Snippet
Topics are listed as the most recently modified first. This assumes that the last note will be the most relevant to the client. The note snippet shown below the topic is a part of the most recent note.
Speed Issues And Notes
We always have to keep in mind that mobile devices do not always have super fast communications. Even the latest phones with the latest generation of communications run into areas where communications are slow.
A single note topic can have hundreds of individual note entries and there is no limit on the number of topics in Advisors Assistant. If you just wanted to read the last few notes on one of your clients and you had to wait for millions of bytes of data to come to your phone, you would not be very happy.
Therefore, when you Click on a topic to read the notes in that topic, AAMobile will download only the 10 most recent notes. This is based on the assumption that a person out in the field will be looking more at most recent events than a search through history.
Add a new note or view the last 10 in the topic.
You can download all notes in the topic to your device by clicking on the All Notes Button at the bottom of the screen.
Edit Or Delete An Existing Note
To edit a note, just click on the note you want to edit.
Scrolling is done in the lower part of the screen.
Deleting a note, or any data, in AAMobile does not depend on the role based security. If the user can use Advisors Assistant, they can use all the functions of AAMobile even if that function is restricted in the desk top application.
Scrolling The Note Edit Screen
You can't scroll the Notes Edit Screen by swiping your finger in the edit area. You will need to lower the keyboard and do the finger swipe below the notes area.
Adding A New Note
Click on the New Note Button at the top right to add a note to the topic.
New Note Screen
If your device has voice recognition capability, you can dictate notes into Advisors Assistant right from AAMobile. It may take a while to get used to just how to speak slowly, smoothly, and distinctly.
Dictation is a quick way to make notes and save them right into your Advisors Assistant database. |
