Account Additions is the amount of money that flowed into the account from outside of the account. This can include:
•Deposits To Cash
•Direct Purchases of a mutual fund
•Any Direct Purchase from outside of the account.
The Sum Of Asset Net Additions May Not Always Equal Account Additions
Within an account, money can move in and out of assets and in and out of the cash account. If cash account balances are not reported correctly, then asset net additions will not always equal Account Net Additions.
