You do not need to register Advisors Assistant to use it during the Trial Period. A System Administrator may click on Activate on the Top Menu to register Advisors Assistant at any time.
Registration Overview
When you first install Advisors Assistant it installs into the Trial Period. The Trial Period gives you access to all of the Advisors Assistant Modules for 30 days. You do not need to register to use Advisors Assistant during the Trial Period.
Once your Trial Period is over, you will need to register your Advisors Assistant. Registration Codes are sent with your Advisors Assistant Installation CDs in a sealed envelope.
How to Register Advisors Assistant
You will need your Registration Codes to register Advisors Assistant. Only open your registration codes if you are beyond your 30 day Money Back Guarantee period or you have decided you will be keeping Advisors Assistant.
1.Open Advisors Assistant using the Database Administrator codes. Only the Database Administrator can activate Advisors Assistant.
2.Click on Activate located in the menubar across the top of the screen. The Data Owner Screen will open. Additional information about filling in the Data Owner Screen is available in the Data Owner Information Help.
3.Fill in any missing information in the Data Owner Screen and click the button for "Register Advisors Assistant."
4.The Register Advisors Assistant Screen will open. Based on your Registration Document enter the following fields:
Company Name
This field will be filled in based on what you've entered on the Data Owner Screen. But the Company Name must match the Company Name in your Registration Document in order to activate Advisors Assistant.
System Type
Select Single User, Network, or MultiProducer based on which type of system you purchased.
Number of Licensed Stations
This is not applicable if you have a Single User system. If you have a Network or MultiProducer system enter the number of user licenses you purchased based on your Registration Codes.
Activation Code
Enter your Activation Code based on your Registration Document. If your codes have been emailed to you you can copy the code from the email and click the Paste Button to paste the code into the field.
Once you have activated the main Advisors Assistant program you will need to activate any additional modules you purchased. Additional information is available in the Module Activation Help.
