Liquidated Date

The date when all the shares of an investment were sold.

If you are downloading investments, Advisors Assistant will consider an asset as liquidated when the shares are sold off to zero AND the Liquidated Date contains a date. Assets with price fixed at $1 per share should not usually be liquidated.

Brokerage account's Cash Balance Accounts are never liquidated.

How To Work With Assets / Investments Which Are Sold Off

When assets are sold to 0 shares, download vendors do not usually send a position showing 0 shares.  Liquidating these investments AUTOMATICALLY can become a problem when trailing dividends or other distributions are credited to the investment as reinvested.

Resolve Obsolete Investments

Advisors Assistant has an investment utility which will search for those investments no longer receiving positions, investments with near 0 share balances or investments without activity in X days.

The utility will allow you to enter liquidated dates without having to enter them one investment at a time.

To resolve obsolete investments:

1.Click on Investments on the Sidebar Menu.

2.Click on the Utilities Icon.

3.Choose Investment | Resolve Obsolete Investments
