Commission Calculation Results-Errors Tab

This screen follows the Calculate Commissions Due process. Click on the Errors Tab.

Calculation Errors Overview

This Calculation Errors Screen is one of the most important parts of the commission calculation process. Most commission errors take place because of missing data in the policy's coverage record or missing data in the rate table.

During the calculation process, Advisors Assistant will log problems with any policies which have the Calculate Commissions Checkbox checked, but are unable to calculate.

For example, the error message above is indicating that, although a commission rate table exists in the coverage record, all of the calculations produced zero commissions.  This is a condition you should definitely investigate.

Recalculate Button

Clicking on Recalculate will take you back to the Calculate Commissions Due Screen.

Post Button

This is a shortcut to the Post Commissions Screen and is the same as clicking on the Exit Button and then clicking on Post from the Commissions Sidebar Menu.

Distribution Button (Unavailable)

This button is unavailable because there was an error in the commission calculation. Adjusting distributions would not make sense here.

Export To Excel Button

Use this button to export to an Excel Spreadsheet. If you want a hard copy of the information displayed, Excel is a good way to turn the screen into a report on paper or to save this information for later use.

Fix Calculation Problem Button

Clicking here will take you directly to the Commissions Tab of the Modify Coverages Screen or the Modify Rate Table Set Screen so that you can check the data that Insurance Commission Insurance Commission uses for the calculation.
