There are THREE steps to installing Imaging Assistant:
1.Call Technical Support to set up an appointment so we can help you with the installation. Imaging Assistant comes with free support for your first server installation.
2.Install the Document Server from the Red CD. For detailed instructions about installing the Red CD, click HERE. You can rely on our Technical Support to help you.
3.Install the Blue CD on each Advisors Assistant workstation. For detailed instructions about installing the Blue CD, click HERE. Technical Support will help you here also. After you've seen the first one, you can probably do the others yourself.
Workstations that are intended to scan documents should NOT be running 64 bit versions of Windows. As of this writing, April 2009, the 64 bit Twain standard had just been released in late 2008 and most 64 bit drivers are unavailable or untested with the new standard. Imaging Assistant is 64 bit enabled and you can view documents on workstations running Windows 64 bit Vista. We do not support Vista 64 for scanning because we have not found any 64 bit drivers that work! We expect this to change in the next 12 months. Click HERE for more information.
