View Policy With Commissions

From the View Client With Insurance Screen, double click on a policy in the insurance list.  Then click on the Commissions tab.

Overview

In order to see this screen, you must have security rights to the Insurance and Insurance Commissions Module.

This screen shows all of the commission transaction components for all of the coverages on the policy.

Commission Perspectives

The Perspectives for this screen are the Commission Levels.  Click on the Perspective to see commission associated with that level

Plan

This is the Coverage Plan for which the commission was calculated.  There can be more than one coverage plan in the list if the policy has more than one plan of insurance and more than one plan is calculating commissions.  If the commissions are not being calculated for the Plan, then no line will appear on the list for that plan.

Rider

If the commission is calculated on a rider, the Modify Rider Screen must be set up to calculate commissions.  This column shows the Plan Abbreviation for the Rider involved.

Type of Rate Used

This represents the section of the rate table.

RateType

Rate Examples

Base Premium would indicate that the rate from the Base Premium column in the rate table was applied to calculate this commission component.

Base Ovr 1 indicates that the Override 1 section of the rate table for the Base Premium was used.

(R) Means Remainder Transaction

If you see an (R) next to a type of transaction, it means that the transaction is a Remainder Transaction.

Due Date

The date the commission was earned.  This is based on the Premium Calendar.

Due Amount

The amount of commission calculated by Advisors Assistant as due to the Agency, Producer or other perspective chosen.

Posted Date

The date the commission is posted as a commission that has been paid to the agency and therefore to the other levels.

The amount of commission reported as Paid or Received.

Posted By

The initials of the user who posted the transaction.

Posted On

This is the date on which the user posted the transaction.  If the

You can remove columns from the display by right clicking on the column header and unchecking the name of the column.
